Geography Field Trips take advantage of our amazing coastline and surroundings

Students across the Prep and Senior Schools have spent time on local beaches and clifftops looking at various aspects of our geography and ecosystem.

 

Prep 4 visits Combe Martin Beach to discover what lies beneath the water

Prep 4 had a very interesting trip to Combe Martin beach to see what sea life exists in the rock pools. After exploring on the beach, they spent time with our artist-in-residence taking inspiration from their rock pool discoveries to draw some of the creatures.

 

Year 10 investigates geomorphic processes at Westward Ho!

Year 10 went to Westward Ho! to investigate how the coastline had been created, and via which geomorphic processes, as part of their Year 11 fieldwork exam.

 

Year 9 visits Fullabrook Wind Farm

Year 9 had a trip to Fullabrook Wind Farm to examine renewable energy supplies for the region.
