We welcome students who just want to come for a few weeks to improve their English in a traditional boarding school with a friendly, safe environment
Short Term Visits
For some students, a short visit to a traditional English boarding school is a perfect way to improve their English, learn more about our country, develop more independence and make new friends.
We offer short stays for between 2 and 6 weeks, during which the students will enjoy English language lessons, be able to join in with all the fun and comradery of our comfortable boarding houses, and visit some of the regions most iconic and famous cities and landmarks.
Students aged 11 to 16 will stay in our comfortable and friendly boys’ and girls’ boarding houses, Boyer and Bamfylde, in the care of our capable houseparents and other boarding staff. They will be in bedrooms for either 2 or 4 people, and we guarantee they will NOT share a room with a student of the same nationality or mother tongue.
Students aged 16 and above will stay in Parker’s, our outstanding Sixth Form boarding house, with its 70 en suite bedrooms, kitchens and spacious social spaces.
