Our Sixth Formers are taking part in a series of courses and training sessions to equip them for life beyond school.

Life skills classes to equip our Sixth Formers for the wider world

As part of our commitment to equip our students with the skills to manage life in the outside world, we are offering a series of classes, workshops and training on a range of useful topics. The Sixth Formers have completed a survey about which skills they would like to learn and the programme has begun with car maintenance and self defence.

Other topics which will be covered include understanding university rental agreements, personal finance, cooking, employment law and first aid. We also have a former MI6 officer coming to talk to the students about keeping safe when travelling abroad.
