Houseparent – Bamfylde

I am delighted to have been the Houseparent for Bamfylde since September 2017, helping the pupils and boarders in my care achieve not only their academic goals but their personal and extra-curricular goals as well. I believe boarding is an excellent opportunity to foster self-reliance, independence and confidence which will enrich pupils’ lives in years to come.

I moved to the United Kingdom 10 years ago after graduating from university with honours and training as a teacher. I have been teaching in the Personalised Learning Department at West Buckland for the past year and look forward to continuing this part-time, going forward, as well as taking on the exciting role in the boarding house.
