Mr Mark Brearey

Mark was educated at Framlington College in Suffolk and read History and Sport Studies at University.

He began his teaching career at St Peter’s School, Lympstone, before teaching in Kenya at St Andrew’s, Turi. After three very happy years in East Africa, he returned to Millfield Prep School, where he ran a boarding house for 50 boys.

From there, he moved to Forres Sandle Manor School in the New Forest as Deputy Head. In 2011, took up the post as Head of Kingswood Prep School in Bath, a coeducational school with 400 pupils. Most recently, he was Chair of Southwest Prep Schools, where he co-opted to put together IAPS Pastoral Committee for 2022/23 and is currently undertaking a coaching and mentoring qualification.

Mark is a lifelong Liverpool supporter and lover of live sport and the great outdoors.
