I have been a full boarder and student at West Buckland School for six years. Despite being far from my family in London, I have found a profound sense of belonging and built a new family within this supportive community. My time in boarding has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, try a diverse range of activities, and forge lasting friendships with students from different ethnic backgrounds. The Sixth Form at West Buckland has significantly benefited me academically. With unwavering support from my teachers, I have been able to excel in my studies and reach my full potential. Additionally, boarding at West Buckland has been transformative in many ways. It has greatly enhanced my time management and organisational skills. The structured environment has taught me to balance my academic workload with extracurricular activities, ensuring I make the most of every opportunity available. This experience has not only prepared me for my future but also instilled in me discipline and self-reliance.
