English teacher

I teach both English and EPQ at West Buckland, alongside my role as a Year 8 tutor. This is now my fifth year of teaching English; I love the way the subject lends itself well to group debates as well as learning skills and lessons which can be applied to life and the way we understand and interact with others.

Outside school, I love to travel and visit new places. I enjoy chatting to students about what their dream travel itinerary would look like, particularly if they are considering a gap year after school. Next on my ‘bucket list’ is the Philippines.
