Professor David Boughey

David read Modern History, Economic History and Politics at Royal Holloway University of London and is a passionate supporter of studying abroad having spent a year at Washington & Jefferson College. Following a Masters in Economic & Social History at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, he returned to Royal Holloway to complete his PhD. He’s an expert in British investment overseas prior to the 1930s and in the development of railway infrastructure and equipment. He recently completed a second term as Associate Dean for Education at the University of Exeter Business School, where he currently leads on international accreditations and teaches business history.
