The school has been shortlisted in the TES School Awards 2022, recognising the fantastic environmental and sustainability work inspired by our Head of Biology, Mr Noah Shawcross.
The school is also a finalist in the ‘Special Sixth Form’ category, and highly commended in the Giving Something Back category of the Muddy Stilettos awards for 2022.
Our superb art facilities, within the 150 Building have become a focal point of excellence in flair, creativity and courageous exploration. Despite the disruption to this year’s on-site schooling, this has not lost its momentum.
Art students across the school community have continued to impress teachers, staff and parents with their imaginative work throughout the year. The slide show below highlights the broad breadth of genres and techniques that our students have explored, as well as the exceptional talent that has been nurtured within the spectacular 150 building.
Amazingly, lockdown hasn’t dented any creativity and may even have allowed more students to think outside the box and use their home environment, especially their pets, as props in their art projects. We think that the pets will be quite relieved when September comes!
