Spark Curiosity and Learning at the Sustainability Festival 2025
Hosted in conjunction with Plan-It Eco and 361 Energy, we are inviting school children to come together from across Devon to engage in an interactive, fun day of workshops, sharing knowledge and learning about how they can make a difference for our local environment and for the planet.
With Thursday 26th June for Primary and Friday 27th June for Secondary school children, workshops will be bespoke designed for the age groups in attendance.
The festival is funded by local business sponsors, enabling students and schools to enjoy a day of activity and learning for free.

Be a key part of this event through bringing a group of students to the event, sign-up essential (see below). There will be interactive indoor and outdoor workshops and some takeaways too. We will have world-class environmental speakers and workshop providers, so you can be assured of an immersive day for your students, with lots of discussion and sharing of ideas.
Watch Phil Williams, Founder of Plan-It Eco, talk about his work in the Amazon, as well as providing an intro to the event.
On each day, up to 250 children will:
- meet new people and gain new skills, knowledge and confidence
- share their ideas with others
- engage in environmental activities, such as seed-planting
- learn from World-Class environmental experts in carefully crafted workshops
- understand how everyday actions can make a difference
- take away ideas and knowledge to continue their eco-work at home
On each day, teachers and staff will:
- meet with other professionals and hear from environmental experts
- learn about the actions of other schools, to enable students and staff alike to make a difference
- take ideas and activities away to share with others in the school
- learn steps they can take as individuals to make a positive difference for the environment
If we all take just one action, one positive action, collectively that adds up to a big difference.
