First choreography competition held at West Buckland

West Buckland School has launched the first choreography competition to take place here, which we hope will be the first of many.

Choreography for ballet, street dance and lyrical disciplines

On Saturday 23rd April, West Buckland held our first Choreography Competition. This was a partnership between Unlimited Dance Company (Barnstaple) and West Buckland School.

The event saw students from across the North Devon area come together to share their creative endeavours, in three different categories: Ballet, Street Dance and Lyrical. There were 35 separate entries and the overall winner was Jess Cardew of Braunton Academy.

Thank you to our guest judges

Thanks to our guest judges: Shanna Dawes, Lee Dunn and Kai Hussain.

“What an inspirational afternoon we had! There was so much talent in one place today.“ Sarah Clements (Director, Unlimited Dance Company)
