Junior Boarding - Gables

Our Junior Boarding House, Gables, underwent a full renovation and commenced operations in the Summer Term of 2024. This charming residence has been meticulously designed to provide a warm, cosy, and inviting atmosphere for our younger boarders. Gables offers accommodation for up to 24 pupils in Years 4 to 6, from occasional, flexi and weekly boarding for Years 4-6 and full boarding available for Years 5 and 6.

Students from Prep have enjoyed a sleep-over birthday party, Masterclass sports evenings combined with a stay in Gables, as well as other evenings.

The House parent Alina provides a personalised support to each young student, to enable them to build in confidence with boarding at their own pace.  This approach works wonderfully with juniors and those who stay really enjoy their time with friends in this homely environment.

Occasional boarding provides the opportunity for single night stays which is perfect if you are a parent with a busy and changing schedule, with the occasional need for your child to be supported with boarding.  Occasional boarding is booked through the parent portal here.  Please ensure to book by 7pm the previous evening, so the boarding parent can be prepared and ready to give a warm welcome to your child.

Weekly boarding provides a 4-night stay, so children can arrive at school on Monday morning, leaving for home again on Friday evening to enjoy their weekends with family.  Weekly boarding can be booked by emailing [email protected].
