We are so lucky to sit on an idyllic site on the edge of Exmoor. Our pupils have access to nearly 100 acres of green space in which to learn, play and explore. This really is a school where children are allowed to be children for longer and they can explore deeply, discover their passion and be their authentic self.

Yesterday, our U11 cricketers took on Kingsley School, with exciting matches both at home and away.
Our A team played hard ball pairs at the beautiful @instowcricket, while back at school, we hosted three teams on our cricket pitches in the sunshine 🌞
It was great to see all our players showing real progress, excellent teamwork, and a strong understanding of the game 👏
Thank you to Kingsley School for the fixtures and to all the parents who came to support and encourage 🙌

🌱 Get Growing in Science!
This week in science, Prep 5 has been diving into the fascinating world of plant reproduction and propagation.
The students had a great time taking cuttings and plantlets from various plants, including Aloe and Begonia, and potting them up to grow their own new plants.

🎹 Huge congratulations to River P who has just won the Two Moors Festival Young Performers piano competition!
At the age of 11, River is perhaps the youngest ever winner and was competing against children up to age 18. His prize includes a Masterclass over the summer before a Winners’ Concert held during the Two Moors Festival itself in October.
River performed his first solo piano recital in the Memorial Hall at West Buckland School in March and is due to play Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.21 with North Devon Sinfonia Orchestra in Torrington on June 21st.
