President of the School - The Countess of Arran CVO MBE VLL

Has lived in North Devon most of her life at Castle Hill where her great, great grandfather resided when he was actively involved with founding West Buckland School. She has many local interests in the voluntary sector and was for some 25 years a Governor of the school. She has retained a great interest in the Foundation and is very honoured to be President. She is a member of the Prince’s Council who advise The Duchy of Cornwall and Vice Lord Lieutenant of Devon. In the 2023 New Year’s Honours List, she was appointed with The Royal Victorian Order C.V.O.
