Patron of the School, having previously served as the school’s President and Chairman of its Governors. Career as a Chartered Surveyor, becoming Senior Partner of Healey and Baker and later Chairman of Cushman and Wakefield Europe and Asia. He was also a non- executive director and Chairman of Slough Estates plc, Stobart Group plc, Falcon Property Trust and Standard Life Investments Property Income Fund.

Outside business, he has been President of the University of Reading, President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, A Governor of Harrow School, Chairman of the Council of Marlborough College and a Commonwealth War Graves Commissioner. He is an Honorary Fellow of Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
