Interim Bursar

I am the Bursar and Clerk to the Governors at West Buckland School. My role oversees the support functions across the school, including finance, estates, HR, IT, and oversight of the Foundation. We have a dedicated team of staff who work around the year to support the delivery of Teaching and Learning at WBS, as well as activities throughout the holiday periods.

My background is in accountancy, and I have worked in practice in the public sector and schools for over 20 years. I originally qualified as a maths teacher many years ago before turning to finance, and I really enjoy being back in the school environment, contributing to the development and opportunities for young people that we provide.

In my spare time, I enjoy getting out into the countryside with my family and exploring the glorious Devon landscapes.
