Director of Prep Music

As Director of Prep Music, I  love my job. I teach music for all ages, from Nursery to Prep 6. I also direct school plays and performances and accompany our young musicians as they play in front of audiences.

As well as this, I run the Senior School Chapel Choir and teach Sixth Form musicians for Composition and Harmony. When I’m not busy with these parts of my job, I accompany students for exams and concerts and take Prep Games (hockey and cricket).

Outside of school life, I conduct the award-winning North Devon Sinfonia orchestra. We perform concerts in top venues around the county so do come along if you see one that interests you! I also love playing my trombone (which I only started a few years ago) and sometimes play with the school Jazz Band

I’m also a member of North Devon Cricket Club in Instow.
